Craziest Concerts

Hello,

Today I'm going to be showing you the most craziest and best concerts of all time (in no particular order)

Oasis- Knebworth Park 1996

Known as one of the most mental concerts of all time, Knebworth cannot be ignored from this list. With 2 nights and 300,000 people, it was crazy.

Metallica- Moscow 1991

One of the biggest concerts of all time was Metallica in Moscow, 1991, with over 2.5 million people at the concert, 53 of these unfortunately losing their lives in the crowds.

Guns N' Roses- Paris 1992

Guns N' Roses are easily known as one of the best rock bands of all time. Their concert in Paris, 1992, was one of the best concerts of all time.

The Killers- Royal Albert Hall 2009

Known as 'one of the best concerts of all time', The Killers put on an amazing show at the Royal Albert Hall in 2009. Every single person was jumping and singing, with 8,000 people at the venue.

Nirvana- Reading Festival 1992

Reading Festival 1992 saw Nirvana absolutely smashing the entire weekend. Complete with Kurt being wheelchaired on at the beginning whilst wearing a wig, and dancing Tony leaping around on stage majority of the time, you've got to watch this.

The Prodigy- Phoenix Festival 1996

Of course, The Prodigy had to be included somewhere on this list. Phoenix Festival 1996 is known to be one of their best and craziest performances, with mosh pits galore.

AC/DC- River Plate 2009

And finally, another one of the best well-known concerts of all time, AC/DC at River Plate 2009. The crowd was huge and crazy, definitely worth a watch.

There you have it, some of the best and craziest concerts of all time! Unfortunately I wasn't born throughout most of these, but if I was, I definitely would have bought tickets for most of them.

The Best Covers

Hello,

Today I am going to share some of the best songs which have been covered by others. Don't worry- It's not Kanye West singing Bohemian Rhapsody.

Oasis' Cover of 'I Am The Walrus' by The Beatles

You might love it, you might hate it, but it's one of my favourites. I think Liam's voice suits this song well, and Oasis were hugely inspired by The Beatles, so to me it's a great cover of a fantastic song.
Listen to it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98Z2vQDqpVw

Kurt Cobain's Cover of 'The Man Who Sold The World' by David Bowie

Following David Bowie's tragic recent death, this song has to be included in this list. The original song is absolutely fantastic, however Kurt Cobain covered this in 1993 at the extremely famous MTV Unplugged gig. It's brilliant and definitely worth a listen, featuring Kurt's unbeatable vocals.

Stereophonics' Cover of 'You Sexy Thing' by Hot Chocolate

This is an excellent cover of Hot Chocolate's 'You Sexy Thing', a song which everyone knows and feels the need to dance to. Kelly Jones' voice completely suits the track and makes it sound as original as before.

Paul Weller's Cover of 'Early Morning Rain' by Gordon Lightfoot

I think that I've definitely mentioned this song several times before- However, it is amazing. It's the kind of song I'd set my alarm as and instead of turning it off, lay there and listen to it several times. It is simply beautiful and despite there being many covers of this song, Paul Weller's is my favourite.

Aerosmith's Cover of 'Come Together' by The Beatles

Another track by 'The Beatles', although so many bands have covered their songs! Aerosmith covered the well-known song 'Come Together', and it is definitely worth a listen. The link is below.

So there you have it, 5 songs which I think have been covered excellently. My next article should be about the most mental concerts in history (I'm sure The Prodigy will be somewhere on that list).

Upcoming and Ongoing Tours #2!

Hello!

So a long time ago I wrote about Upcoming and Ongoing Tours (I think this was about a year ago) so I suppose I'd better do a more updated version!

Stereophonics- Despite just playing a few gigs (I went to the London one, it's worth getting tickets, amazing!), the phonics have a few upcoming gigs such as Cardiff City Stadium, Isle of Wight Festival, Castlefield Bowl and Edinburgh Castle, and a few other different countries. Grab them whilst you can!

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds- They're back, and with a new album next year, a tour is coming. They are touring around the world and doing some UK venues such as Glasgow, Bournemouth and Liverpool (plus many more). Also we're all hoping that he'll be back at the Royal Albert Hall in March for the TCT gigs!

Metallica- They aren't in the UK and are only doing one gig on February 6th in San Francisco, but in the meantime keep a look out for announced dates!

Guns N' Roses- That's right, the Guns are back! They are confirmed to play Coachella 2016 and are headlining (apparently), and also an American tour, but also rumours of a world tour. Hopefully new music will be out in 2017.

Def Leppard- They have just visited the UK, but are now on to the United States right until May (and are pretty much everywhere in February), so if you're American, you have a chance of getting tickets.

Coldplay- Considering 'A Head Full of Dreams' is their final album, this is probably their final ever tour and the last chance you'll get to see them. So, a world tour (including many areas of the UK and Wembley Stadium in London) is in order this year, get tickets whilst you can!

The Killers- Once again, nothing in the UK, but on the 6th April they are playing in Las Vegas, and are definitely worth seeing.

Muse- Following their new album, Muse have a huge upcoming tour with 5 dates at the O2 in London (April!) before moving onto the USA.

Kings of Leon- The only gig that has been confirmed is on the 16th June at the Firefly Music Festival in the States, however a new album and world tour is due and rumoured, so keep a look out!

The Rolling Stones- From February until March, The Rolling Stones are visiting places in South America such as Brazil for some huge gigs.

The Prodigy- Despite just leaving London and many other cities, The Prodigy have 1 gig left in Austria on the 4th April!

Ocean Colour Scene- Luckily, Ocean Colour Scene have announced a huge tour! They will be visiting London and other parts of the UK this January (extremely soon, grab last minute tickets if you can!) before they go on to Australia in February to finish the tour.

Radiohead- Get ready for a huge year from Radiohead, as 2016 is supposedly seeing a new album and world tour, so keep an eye out at all times!

Razorlight- Despite no gigs themselves (they only usually do festivals), Razorlight should be performing at many festivals this summer despite nothing particularly being announced yet. Keep an eye out early this year!

AC/DC- And finally, AC/DC have some huge concerts coming up this year... They are in the USA from February until April, before coming to Europe and performing many gigs within the UK and other countries (Including London on the 2nd of June!) Don't miss out.

What gigs have I just missed?
And for the disappointing bit, bands such as Stereophonics, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Fleetwood Mac, The Prodigy, Def LeppardAC/DC and Foo Fighters have recently toured and performed in the UK.. Many of these have some gigs coming up though, so don't worry!
