Music of the Week!

Hi everyone,

It's that time of week again where I discuss my favourite music of the week! So here it is...

SONG OF THE WEEK
This week's song of the week is a new release which came out on Monday, and that is 'I Wanna Get Lost With You' by Stereophonics. This song is beautiful and makes me so excited for their new album! It sounds like their old stuff!

ALBUM OF THE WEEK
This week is an album I don't think I've mentioned before but it's quite old... But it is Studio 150 by Paul Weller... It is such a beautiful album and he has written some amazing songs!

BAND OF THE WEEK
This week it is hard for me, but I'd have to say that it is Oasis as I have been listening to their B Sides this week and they are simply amazing and hard to beat!

My Life With Oasis

So today's random music-related post is a little different... 'My Life With Oasis'.

So I wasn't yet born when the band first formed (I am still quite young), but ever since the age of 2 I have been part of the 'Oasis World' as you might like to call it.

'Liam Gallagher Wannabe'.. Aged three

I was familiar with all of the A Sides and the albums by the time I was around 7-8, and probably a few of the B Sides too... Until they broke up.

From the age of 10 onwards I then started getting into the B Sides and I'm in love with every single one now (I'm a lot older now!!).

I then got into Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Beady Eye, including live performances on Youtube from every Noel written song ever... 

So this/next year I am hoping to see Noel in concert and fulfil the dream!!


Oasis/Noel/Liam have been a huge part of my entire life and I just decided I'd make a blog post on them!

Music of the Week!

Hi!

I haven't been on here for ages (sorry!) but I will post a lot again... So for my first post I've decided to do music of the week, and it's hard again this week!

SONG OF THE WEEK
This week's song of the week is one I don't think I've mentioned before, and this is Lithium by Nirvana. It has such a nostalgic but rock n' roll feel to it, and I'm in love with this song at the moment!

ALBUM OF THE WEEK
This is another hard one, but I think this week it has got to be 'Aha Shake Heartbreak' by Kings of Leon. Every single song in this album is completely individual and it's also a great album to study or chill to.

BAND OF THE WEEK
Once again, my band of the week is Supergrass. I've probably picked them two or three times now, but they're so good I can't resist!
